Crochet project finished

I finally finished the crochet baby shower gift.  It probably took me about 20 hours, way more time than I had anticipated.  The tiny size D crochet hook wove a very tight cotton fabric that I am very happy with, it just made the process longer than it should have been.  On top of that the hat pattern was bunk and I ripped it out 3 times before inventing my own pattern to almost match the pictured in the book.  My favorite part was the addition of satin ribbon crocheted along the border of the sweater.  It looks so cute and adds a beautiful detailed texture to the piece.  All and all I am very happy with the finished product and so was the librarian who commissioned this set.
